Everyone can make an arch with their own hands. To do this, you will need a drywall knife, metal shears, a drill or a screwdriver. The following materials are required: drywall, drywall guide profile, 25mm metal screws. We make an arch and a rectangular opening. You can make it with mounting glue (by gluing drywall of the desired shape), you can use bars or boards for manufacturing, you can make a frame from a profile and sheathe LGK.
The lower part of the arch should go into the poem or dock with it. We fasten the profile to the vertical or horizontal side so that the indent matches the thickness of the drywall. This is done on both sides of the opening. If the guides are lateral, then their length should be equal to the length of the arch. We cut out a rectangular blank from drywall, it should be 3 cm higher. Than the desired arch. We bend the plastic plinth and, not reaching 3 cm to the upper edge, we draw an arch. With a gypsum corton knife we cut out the arch. For the other side, we make exactly the same and put them on self-tapping screws. We make the lower curved section of the arch. For this purpose, bend and fasten the profile along the lower edge of the arches. We cut out a bending strip of drywall in order to connect the two arches. Wet the strip with water and roll it with a needle roller. We bend the strip and mount it in the arch.
